About me
I am an academic librarian. I design, build, and manage digital libraries through open source software use and production. I currently manage five digital libraries: SPOKEdb Oral History Database, Notable Kentucky African Americans Database, Daily Racing Form Online Archive, Kentucky Digital Newspaper Program, and the John C. Wyatt Lexington Herald-Leader Photographs Database. I contributed to the early design and development of OHMS (Oral History Metadata Synchronizer). My current research interests include open source web publishing platforms, minimal computing, digital newspapers, metadata, and oral history.
